St. Paul, pray for us!

St. Paul, originally known as Saul of Tarsus, was a devout Jew and a Roman citizen who initially persecuted Christians. However, his life was transformed after a powerful encounter with Jesus Christ on the road to Damascus. This moment marked his conversion and the beginning of his mission to spread the Gospel.

Paul became one of the most influential figures in the early Church. He undertook multiple missionary journeys, founded Christian communities across the Roman Empire, and authored 13 epistles in the New Testament. His teachings focus on salvation through faith in Jesus, the power of grace, and the unity of believers.

St. Paul was martyred in Rome around 67 A.D. by beheading during the persecution under Emperor Nero. He is venerated as one of the greatest saints in the history of the Church.
